Wye View is a well-regarded holiday rental with stunning river views and a prime location close to local amenities. Guests consistently praise its cleanliness, stylish decor, and the thoughtful welcome packs provided by the hosts. While some guests mention issues with noise and bedroom size, the majority report a comfortable stay with modern facilities, despite occasional maintenance concerns. The property's charm and the owners' hospitality contribute to its appeal for a peaceful getaway.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property consistently receives high praise for its cleanliness, with multiple reviews highlighting its spotless condition upon arrival. This suggests that the property is well-maintained and that cleanliness is a priority for the hosts.

The location is frequently described as ideal, with its proximity to the town centre, restaurants, and pubs, as well as its peaceful setting. The picturesque views of the River Wye are a standout feature. Some concerns about noise and parking are noted, but they do not detract significantly from the overall positive reception of the location.

Comfort receives a slightly lower score due to mixed feedback. While many guests find the property comfortable and tastefully furnished, some raise issues with the bed and pillows, and the size of the bedroom. However, the positive comments about the property's comfort outweigh the negatives.

Facilities are generally well-received, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and modern amenities. However, there are several remarks about the lack of certain items such as a microwave, washing machine, and issues with Wi-Fi and security. Maintenance concerns, such as the front door lock and window issues, have also been raised.

The hosts are frequently commended for their thoughtfulness, particularly regarding the welcome packs. While these are highly appreciated by guests, it is important to note that such gestures are at the hosts' discretion and may not be a guaranteed feature of every stay.

The views over the river are beautiful and the location is perfect. Literally a stones throw from two very different pubs to suit different tastes. Located on the edge of town so it’s quiet yet only a couple of minutes to walk to the start of the shops and restaurants. A really generous welcome pack awaited our arrival which set us up nicely for a lovely breakfast with a view. The owners really are very kind, friendly and went above and beyond to welcome us, ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We’ll definitely be back
