Y Felin is a stone-built cottage located down a short private lane surrounded by farmland and mountains in southern Snowdonia and the Dyfi Biosphere. Sleeping 3 people in flexible sleeping arrangements, this cottage benefits from a double bedroom and a super king size bed that separates into two single beds on request. It has a lovely lawned garden with outdoor furniture and BBQ under a shelter and a small enclosed bridge over the river and into neighbouring fields, perfect for exploring. The area offers quiet lanes for walking and cycling locally, alternatively the mountains offer more challenging walks. To eat and drink, just 3 miles away are Coffee shop in nearby village, Melin Meirion Coffee Siop and Llew Coch pub in Dinas Mawddwy.

Well equipped cottage in a lovely setting. We spent Christmas week there and a lovely real Christmas tree provided made it feel special, as well as the festive welcome pack. Despite the stormy weather we were warm and cosy, and managed to do a couple of walks including Cader Idris. Many Thanks to Gwen.

A little gem in the middle of Snowdonia. The location is magical with a running stream at the bottom of the garden, to tantalise tipping your feet in. Woolly visitors greet you most mornings with their inquisitive stares. The house is beautifully decorated with good quality furniture. We found the beds to be really comfortable and with the aga keeps the chill at bay. We would highly recommend 5 stars .
