Snaptrip says

Maerdy Lodge is a well-received holiday cottage praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the quiet, rural location ideal for exploring Pembrokeshire's coast. The spacious and cosy interiors, powerful showers, and well-maintained grounds contribute to a pleasant stay. Some guests suggest minor improvements and maintenance, but overall experiences are positive, with many looking forward to returning.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the cottage to be spotlessly clean, with well-maintained interiors. However, a few noted issues with cobwebs and a damp smell in some areas, suggesting room for improvement in cleaning standards.

The cottage's location is highly praised for its peaceful rural setting and proximity to the Pembrokeshire coast, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. The quiet and generous grounds are also appreciated, although the proximity to another property is noted by some.

Guests report a high level of comfort, with cosy furnishings, good quality beds, and extra touches like blankets and a warm welcome. Some guests mention issues with dampness and draughts, but overall, the comfort of the lodge is well-regarded.

The lodge is equipped with a range of facilities that guests find very useful, including a well-stocked kitchen and smart TV with Netflix. However, there are comments about the need for maintenance, such as fixing a wobbly toilet and addressing damp issues, which affects the score.

While guests mention thoughtful touches like the provision of washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, and extra blankets, there is insufficient information about consistent welcome gifts to accurately score this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Inside and out, we had a lovely time, good quality bedding and towels and generally clean. The area is lovely and there was plenty to see and do, and we enjoyed eating out. St David’s was amazing! Unfortunately I wouldn’t return, there was a lot of mould especially on the ceiling in main bedroom, and for some one with COPD and sleep apnea, it makes breathing very hard! I didn’t get much sleep to be honest and had a fair few flare So unfortunately this put a downer on the stay massively!
