About this property

A delightful stone barn conversion with a hot tub and mezzanine bedroom, this cottage provides very comfortable holiday accommodation in Ceredigion all year around.

Situated approximately 4 miles from New Quay and close to the Ceredigion Heritage coastline, there are many small beaches nearby - Cwmtudu, award winning New Quay Harbour, Tresaith and Penbryn.

There are several places to eat within a 5 mile radius of the cottage and numerous visitor attractions, including the National Trust estate and gardens at Llanychaeron, a honey farm, bird of prey centre, coracle centre, cheese farm, woollen mills and a steam railway. Ideal for couples and small families.

This quiet Welsh village has a welcoming pub and a very well stocked local shop that are the heart of this agricultural community. A very popular walking and cycling area, there are trails right from the doorstep, with fishing and golf close by too. Visitors can spend wonderful days exploring the old drovers’ routes from the market town of Tregaron up into the Cambrian Mountains, discovering gems of local craftsmanship in the Welsh Gold Centre or maybe catch the annual trotting harness racing. Peaceful location and perfect for walking. The adjacent secure field was a godsend for our two energetic dogs, who ran around to their hearts content. Our stay was superb, and we went home feeling very relaxed (probably due to being in the hot tub every night) Philippa and Mark, the owners couldn't do enough for us and we can't wait to go back

All the details are wonderful in the kitchen. The garden is just what we need for relaxing, birds singing, bird feeder right in the window. Of course the hot tub is always lovely in the later at evening. If I could like a livingroom in our house, this cottage would have happy my life. One of the best cottage we have been here. Our dog was happy getting walks right out the door. Superb, comfortable, and cleaning, and relaxing. Thank you Philippa and Mark

It was our first time in Wales and they were so friendly and helpful with recommendations. The cottage is clean, warm and has everything you need. The private hot tub is lovely and so are the surrounding gardens. The cottage is close to many beautiful beaches and there is so much to explore around there. We found a folder full of information about the local area and recommendations which was extremely helpful. We will definitely be booking again!
