Guests are overwhelmingly positive about The Grain Store, praising its high standard of furnishings, cleanliness, and private hot tub. The property is described as comfortable, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated, making it a luxurious retreat. The location is appreciated for its proximity to the beach and local sights, and the thoughtful touches, such as a welcome bottle of Prosecco, add to the delightful experience. While there is a mention of noise from neighbours, the issue was promptly addressed by the owners.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviewers consistently mention the property's cleanliness, describing it as immaculate and extremely clean, which indicates a very high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.

The location is praised for its proximity to the beach, local high street, and the ability to explore the island. However, there is no explicit mention of the location's convenience or any drawbacks, so the score reflects the positive but limited feedback.

Comfort is a recurring theme, with guests highlighting the comfy beds, spaciousness, and overall luxurious feel of the property. The private hot tub adds to the comfort level, making it a relaxing stay.

Facilities are highly rated, with mentions of a well-equipped gym, hot tub, and high-quality furnishings. There is a single mention of the hot tub being too cold on the first night, but this seems to be an isolated incident.

Guests appreciate the thoughtful gestures, such as the provision of a highchair and a welcome bottle of Prosecco. While these gestures are highly valued, it should be noted that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the northern tip of Anglesey, Llanfechell is a tiny community that is 1.5 miles from Cemaes Bay. The nearby 12th-century Mechell Church, which has been expanded over the years and is said to be the location of St. Mechell's burial, is where the village derives its name. The area is well-liked by geologists and archaeologists because of the rock formations at Mechell Mountain and the numerous ancient monuments dispersed about, some of which are said to be among the oldest in the world. The ancient Parys Mountain copper mines, with their lunar-like scenery, are seven miles away.

The only issue we had were really noisy neighbours as there is an apartment upstairs. I think we were really unlucky as there were two sets of people staying and both were really noisy. We told the owners and they were really good - eventually moving us to another property which was absolutely stunning. We were told that there had been some sound proofing so I think we were just unlucky and the owners sorted it for us, which we appreciated. Overall it would have been 5 starts apart from that.

The apartment was clean, stylish and well laid out. The hot tub was lovely and well sheltered. We particularly liked the dining space and had some great family meals as well as board games around the table. The beds were really comfy and having the option of a twin was ideal for our children. Only one thing to mention is you can hear upstairs a fair bit but then it is an apartment and this didn’t bother us. Overall, we would definitely recommend staying here.

Very spacious and beautifully decorated with everything we needed. Great weather allowed us to sit out in the garden and enjoy some great coastal walks a short drive away. Lovely space to dine, play games and just enjoy great evenings, as well as several dips in the hot tub. Really peaceful setting. Highly recommend and would love to return.
