Snaptrip says

Eagle Lodge is a well-received holiday rental with guests praising its peaceful setting, picturesque location, and wildlife. The lodge is comfortable and cosy, offering a good base for exploring the Highlands. While some guests mentioned minor issues with directions and maintenance, the overall experience is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the lodge clean and comfortable, with high standards of cleanliness mentioned. However, a few reviews noted issues with dust, cobwebs, and a dirty fridge, suggesting room for improvement.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, natural beauty, and proximity to walks and local attractions. Some guests found it tricky to find, but once there, the setting was appreciated.

The lodge is generally considered cosy and suitable for a relaxing stay. Some guests felt it was better suited for smaller groups due to space constraints, and a few mentioned the need for better lighting at night.

Facilities are deemed adequate, with recent upgrades like new carpets and couches. However, guests suggested additions like Wi-Fi, clearer TV instructions, and better kitchen equipment. The lack of Wi-Fi was a recurring point, although some guests were content using mobile data.

While some guests were pleasantly met with chocolates, the reviews do not consistently mention gifts or special touches that would indicate a standard practice of thoughtfulness. Therefore, it cannot be conclusively scored.

There were places to visit nearby and we went to visit the isle of sky as it was approximately 2 hour drive. Great dog walks and staff were helpful and friendly. We will be back.

We had one problem with a light switch that we reported. the only improvement would be to install wi-fi.
