About this property

York 6 miles. The cottage is set within the most tranquil green and luscious Swallow Hall Golf Club and has pleasant views from most of the windows a mere 6 miles from the historical city of York. This beautiful cottage is a perfect retreat for couples wanting a touch of luxury, the traditional woodburning stove is perfect for taking the chill off cooler evenings and as a focal point it is an ideal spot for reminiscing following a perfect day out. The spacious bedroom has a king-size double bed and the en-suite completes the luxury touch. An open plan sitting, dining and kitchen area completes this perfect oasis amongst the green! As a place to stay the cottage is perfectly placed to discover why North Yorkshire attracts millions of visitors each year. The historic city of York is one of the great medieval walled cities of the world and needs no introduction and the close proximity of this jewel in the Yorkshire crown enables you to discover something completely different day after day. Walking the amazing city walls, browsing the independent shops, visiting The Shambles, the Railway Museum, the Jorvik Centre and a myriad of activities offers something for absolutely anyone and everyone! However the county offers bustling market towns and picturesque villages; the North Yorkshire Moors National Park; a rich heritage of castles, monasteries and private mansions and some great outdoor areas to explore from the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds to the woodlands of Dalby Forest. Note: This cottage is next to Refs. 904788 and 904237, together they sleep 10.

The city of York needs no recommendation, for it teems with interest for the holidaymaker: the Minster, medieval walls, boat trips on the River Ouse, York Races, museums (including the famous National Railway Museum and the Castle Museum), and the internationally-renowned Jorvik Viking Centre and its "time trip" experience.
