Snaptrip says

The Stables in Settle is highly praised for its quirky charm, ideal location for walking and the Three Peaks challenge, and thoughtful touches from the hosts. Guests consistently mention the property's cleanliness, comfort, and the welcoming atmosphere, including the provision of welcome treats. The cottage's character and the scenic views contribute to a delightful stay, despite some comments about slow Wi-Fi and minor maintenance issues.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests frequently commend the property for its cleanliness, describing it as immaculate and well-kept. There is a single mention of cobwebs and dust, but this appears to be an isolated observation rather than a common concern.

The location is consistently celebrated for its proximity to walking routes, the Three Peaks, and local amenities like pubs. The picturesque setting and convenient parking are also appreciated, although there is a note regarding potential early morning noise from walkers.

Comfort is a strong point, with guests finding the cottage cosy, well-furnished, and warm, especially during the winter months. The spaciousness and quietness at night contribute to a restful experience, although there is a mention of a head-height beam that requires caution.

The cottage is praised for being well-equipped and having high-spec appliances. However, there are suggestions for additional spoons, better heating in one of the toilets, and improvements to the Wi-Fi, which indicates room for enhancement in facilities and maintenance.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is highlighted through mentions of welcome gifts such as prosecco, flapjacks, and dog treats. While these gestures are highly appreciated, it is important to note that such extras, though delightful, may vary and are not guaranteed.

It was immaculate upon arrival. We even had some home made flap jack and biscuits for the dog which was wonderful. It had everything we needed. Location was perfect for the start of the 3 peaks challenge and the view from the windows over the hills was amazing! We had plenty of space for the dog and two children and our 1 year old loved paddling in the little river in front of the property. I couldn’t recommend this enough.

plenty of room with everything we needed. Very spacious and comfortable in a great location! Fantastic hosts, I called to get the sofa bed made up (which I should have done before arriving) but this was no trouble and all sorted within 20mins! We climbed Pen Y Ghent, the stables is at the bottom of the trial. We took short drive into settle for a takeaway and ate at the gold lion the 2nd night after our walk (food was average). We would stay here again

Quiet location but perfectly situated for walking. The milk, flapjacks and prosecco were welcome on arrival.
