Resting on the edge of High Bentham, this 17th century, stone-built semi-detached cottage is laced with charm and character, a warm and cosy setup to be enjoyed all-year-round. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a peaceful holiday, guests will feel right at home amongst the heart-warming features, including exposed beams and a woodburner tucked away into a stone fireplace. With the above in mind, most of your nights will be spent relaxing in the lounge, admiring the interior that oozes character. This enchanting feel continues through to the kitchen/diner, with its stone wall and edgy ceiling adding to the beautiful, decorative effect. An open stone staircase leads you up to the next floor, which houses a characterful bedroom with a sense of tradition to make your nights that much more memorable. Lastly, a shower room is complete to a lovely standard, boasting scattered beams that oversee the room for a unique finish. Spend a moment or two outside in the delightful garden, surrounded by an abundance of natural beauty and a seating area to enjoy it all from. The countryside provides a host of walks, including the famous Ingleton Falls Walk and cycling routes, whilst there are numerous touring opportunities towards the Lake District, Trough of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. All amenities were in top class condition and worked fine. There was a useful information file and a welcome apple pie and pint of milk! Great hospitality service. The only issue I would raise is the 9am check out time. This means you spend your last evening packing or have to set the alarm early - no one wants to do this on a holiday! 10am is the norm which is more reasonable. It doesn't spoil the cottage though!
