Snaptrip says

Teddy Bear Cottage is a cosy and comfortable property, praised for its ideal location near Haworth and the Worth Valley steam railway. Guests have enjoyed the welcoming touches and the cottage's cleanliness, though one review mentioned areas for improvement. The property is well-regarded for a pleasant stay.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the cottage clean and comfortable. However, one review cited issues with cleanliness, including an unemptied bin and the presence of woodlice, which suggests room for improvement.

The location is highly praised for being within walking distance of Haworth village and the steam railway, making it an ideal spot for visitors looking to explore the area.

The majority of guests found the cottage cosy and comfortable, suitable for a couple. One review mentioned the bed size discrepancy, but overall, comfort levels were high.

There is insufficient information to accurately score the facilities and maintenance. While some guests were satisfied, one review mentioned broken windows and a need for property maintenance, but without more details, a fair score cannot be given.

Guests appreciated the thoughtful touches like the provision of tea, coffee, biscuits, and milk upon arrival. While these gestures are well-received, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

The budding chef of the group will have all they need to prepare delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen, which features a handy washing machine for keeping your holiday wardrobe fresh! When sleep calls, there are two well-appointed bedrooms on the first floor, a queen-size and a double, both served by a contemporary bathroom where you can prepare for the day in style. Explore the local village, which was home to the famous Bronte sisters, here you can enjoy the stunning scenery and moorlands which inspired their classic novels, including Wuthering Heights. Wander the cobbled streets where you will find an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants, including The Old Sun Inn and the 16th-century Haworth Old Hall. The literary fans in your party will delight at the opportunity to delve into the lives of the Bronte’s at the Bronte Parsonage Museum, followed by a drink at the welcoming Wuthering Heights pub or a ride aboard a vintage steam train at the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway where you can soak up breath-taking views. Next stop is the bustling market town of Keighley, where transport enthusiasts can enjoy the delights of the Ingrow Loco museum or the Keighley Bus Museum, or if that isn’t your thing, why not explore the magnificent National Trust site of East Riddlesden Hall or the impressive Cliffe Castle? Spend the day in the quirky town of Hebden Bridge, home to the Heptonstall Museum and a charming canal for a cycle or stroll, if that's not for you, why not venture to the town of Skipton? Be sure to check out the historical city of Halifax to tour magnificent manor houses or head to Bradford to view the World Heritage Site of Saltaire. Marvel at the spectacular Bingley 5 rise locks, or head into Leeds to be inspired by their theatre. A getaway to Bronte Country like no other, choose Teddy Bear Cottage.

The Bronte sisters, who lived in the village of Haworth, were inspired by the surrounding moorland to write their legendary books. It's easy to see why Emily Bronte chose Haworth as the setting for Wuthering Heights, because of the town's plethora of curiosity and antique shops, as well as its narrow lanes and cobbled streets, all of which contribute to the town's charming historical feel. The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, the steam train featured in the film The Railway Children, is just a short drive away and offers a beautiful day out.

The cottage itself wasn’t up to standard. First impression of outside looked scruffy, weeds and untidy baskets, broken gate and leaves/litter. All the windows were misted up/broken down and need replacing. Woodlice both dead and alive crawling in the property. Kitchen bin not emptied and floor not cleaned. Smell to the property like heavy smoker has lived there. All lights and skirting boards dusty/cobwebs. Bed wasn’t a king size as advertised, bedding all ok, bathroom ok…serviceable but ceiling needed cleaning and painting and the bedroom one also. Needs a good clean under all furniture which I would of done myself but only small hand held vacuum available to use. We made the best of the stay and out most of the day, didn’t cook in the kitchen, lucky with the weather so we were able to leave windows open. Wouldn’t return to this cottage, it’s the first time we have ever been disappointed with accommodation in over 30yrs! The locals made the holiday as all so friendly we would definitely return to this area.
