Guests that stayed at this property said

The property is consistently described as very clean, with multiple reviews highlighting its cleanliness as a standout feature. However, there were isolated incidents of dirty dishes and cutlery, which slightly impact the overall high rating.

The location is highly praised for being within walking distance to the town centre and local attractions. The convenience of the location is a recurring positive aspect in the reviews.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the property cosy, although there are comments about worn sofas and unsupportive mattresses. The presence of a fan during hot weather and the warmth during colder periods contribute to the comfort level.

The cottage is well-equipped for a comfortable stay, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as an old oven, a crackling TV, and worn-out sofas. These issues suggest that some facilities could benefit from updating or repair.

Guests frequently mention appreciative gestures such as a welcome pack with tea, coffee, and biscuits. These touches contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, although it is noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

We enjoyed the space very much and the location was an easy walk to the main areas of town. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. Street parking worked well as we arrived after street restrictions were lifted for the weekend. The days we needed to move the car by 10 we had plans to be on the road and didn’t return until after day time restrictions were done. It really wasn’t too hard. Enjoyed our stay.

I don’t think the listing mentioned the private little garden which would be a great place to sit in fine weather. Visitors need to be able to manage fairly steep stairs (which was no problem for us) We had a lovely short holiday. Thankyou.

But parking was an issue, finding somewhere suitable, we had decent weather so it was a pity that we couldn't sit out in the garden as it is not usable. Lastly checking in times seem to be getting later ie 5pm for this property, luckily the owner kindly let us check in at 3pm.
