We were very much looking forward to our visit to the Cotswolds, the theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon and the surrounding area. But arriving in Riverside House soon taught us that the best place to be was to stay at home, watch the River Avon roll by, cook together, go on walks together - relax as much as possible. This is the house we have been looking for all those years and we will be back. FOR SURE.

This is a lovely house in a most beautiful setting on the Avon River. The house is well-appointed and maintained. My wife and I stayed here for 10 days and welcomed a revolving cast of friends and family. Ms. Bidwell welcomed us and answered any questions we had. The daily traffic and wildlife on the river were entertaining, and the folks in the boatyard and longboats were most congenial. Riverside House is a 10-minute walk from two fine pubs and an excellent restaurant, and the Co-op across the main road stocks pretty much anything you could want. I can't imagine a better setting for a holiday with family or friends!

No complaints at all regarding Riverside House. Very comfortable and roomy cottage, spotlessly clean with all amenities. Beautiful location on the river, we were extremely lucky with the weather so we’re able to eat outside. Walks from the door & a fun few hours on one of David’s canal boats made it a memorable break. Thank you!
