Snaptrip says

The Olde House in Herefordshire receives high praise for its beautiful garden, ideal location for walks, and its well-equipped, cosy, and comfortable setting. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful owners, the property's cleanliness, and the secure garden for dogs. While some minor issues with the shower and sofa bed comfort were mentioned, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests planning return visits.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently note the property's cleanliness, with the house being described as spotless and well-maintained. The garden is also mentioned as well-tended, contributing to the high cleanliness score.

The location is praised for its peacefulness, proximity to beautiful walks, and easy access to local attractions. The secure garden and views are also appreciated, although one review mentioned a feeling of discomfort due to the property's history.

The majority of guests find the cottage cosy and comfortable, with spacious rooms and a homely feel. However, some guests noted issues with bed comfort, particularly the sofa bed, which slightly lowers the comfort score.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the property being well-equipped for guests' needs. Some guests experienced issues with the shower temperature and the cooker, which suggests room for improvement in maintenance.

While guests express gratitude for the owners' warm welcome and helpfulness, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

It is set up perfectly for both hot and cold weather - though we were lucky with the weather so were able to make the most of the glorious garden and complete peace. Lovely hosts who checked in on the first and last day to make sure we were okay.

The cottage is well equipped which is handy. The garden is lovely and we had the fortune of a few bits of sunshine during our stay to enjoy it, along with lots of birds :) We would definately come back again, and really enjoyed its location as a central point to so many places to visit. Most importantly the location is incredibly peaceful and we got some much needed rest. Thank you

It was very clean, cosy, comfortable and we felt very welcome. The garden was perfectly secure for our children and dog to run around and enjoy, the kitchen well equipped and a ideal base for us to explore the Wye Valley. Great location, wonderful cottage and would definitely recommend.
