Guests consistently praise the cottage for its excellent location near the beach, its well-equipped kitchen, and the thoughtful touches provided by the owner. The enclosed garden is appreciated by dog owners, and the property's cleanliness and comfort are frequently highlighted. The cottage's decor and the peaceful environment contribute to a relaxing stay, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests often finding it spotless and well-maintained. One mention of dust and an old sock under a bed suggests minor room for improvement, but overall, the property is commended for its cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach and local amenities, making it an ideal spot for beachgoers and dog owners. The peacefulness of the area and the ease of exploring nearby attractions contribute to the high rating.

Comfort is well-regarded, with guests enjoying the cozy atmosphere and furnishings. Some guests suggest that the beds are soft and the living room could benefit from brighter lighting, but overall, the cottage provides a comfortable stay.

Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped kitchen and thoughtful outdoor spaces. However, some guests noted issues with the heating system, a small fridge, and minor maintenance like weeding and lawn mowing. The prompt replacement of a broken oven shows attentive maintenance.

The owner's thoughtfulness is evident in the provision of dog cleaning facilities, welcome treats, and regular communication. While these gestures are greatly appreciated, it is politely noted that such personal touches may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.

Must be one of the best equiped kitchens that we have ever had. Herbs, spices and condiments galore. Spotlessly clean. Owner and Sykes Cottages were very quick to respond to a couple of issues that we had. Highly recommend this cottage.
