Snaptrip says

The Courthouse in Sutton Poyntz is a well-loved cottage, praised for its comfort, spaciousness, and secure garden ideal for dogs. Its location is appreciated for beautiful walks and proximity to local attractions. While some guests noted issues with cleanliness and maintenance, others found it spotlessly clean, suggesting variability in experiences.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Cleanliness reviews are mixed, with several guests finding the property spotless and well sanitised, while others reported it in need of a deep clean and mentioned issues such as odours and unclean ovens. The variability in feedback suggests inconsistency in cleaning standards.

The location is highly regarded, with guests enjoying the nearby pub, picturesque village, and easy access to walks and beaches. The peaceful setting and proximity to Weymouth and other Dorset attractions contribute to its high rating.

Guests consistently praise the comfort of the property, highlighting the comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and well-equipped lounge. The secure garden adds to the comfort for those with pets.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-stocked kitchen and ample parking. However, some guests noted issues with showers, heating, and garden furniture, suggesting room for improvement in maintenance.

While some guests mentioned a welcome gift of wine, there are not enough references to consistently assess the level of thoughtfulness across all stays. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed that such gestures are a standard practice for every guest.

Comfortable seats and beds. Secure garden for the dogs and good walks direct from the house either up the hills behind or down to the beach. Slightly disappointed that there was no welcome pack of any sort and it needs to be more explicit in the information that towels are not provided. A 5pm check-in seems unnecessarily late and is somewhat inconvenient.

Yes there are a few issues but this building is around 450 years old. A fantastic base for holidays, off road parking, enclosed dog friendly garden . The hamlet is picture postcard perfect, and the Courthouse is only 150 metres walking from the Springhead pub. Beers food and gin specialists and like 99% of the permanent villagers the welcome recieved is like coming back home.

Village of Sutton Poyntz is lovely, very peaceful. Very close to the Springhead Pub which was very nice, people in the village were really friendly. Property is very spacious, dog friendly and ideally placed for most of Dorset
