Well-appointed throughout and ideally set up for a couple or family with younger children; the property enjoys delightful views across the water towards Kingswear and the mouth of the river beyond. Never had a problem before. Unfortunately it seems that Flat 3 above has recently had a refurbishment with a new solid floor and furniture. The noise coming from upstairs was awful. I could hear music, TV, and the constant sound of furniture being dragged around upstairs. Such a shame.

We particularly enjoyed the views of the river which were spectacular there is so much to enjoy with all the activity of the ships and boats and the arrivals and departures of the steam train across the river into kingswear station . Lots of nearby places to visit including a couple of national trust propertyâs and Buckfast abbey gave us plenty to see and enjoy . Parking at the property is difficult and could have been more helpfully explained but overall a very enjoyable stay and we would happily book again .
