Snaptrip says

Trewenna is a well-equipped and beautifully restored holiday home in Truro, praised for its excellent location and thoughtful touches. Guests enjoyed the comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, and cosy living spaces. The garden and outdoor facilities added to the charm. Some minor issues with comfort and maintenance were noted, but overall, the property provided a delightful stay with a local shop and pub conveniently located across the road.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property generally received positive remarks on cleanliness. However, one review mentioned dust on lights and fittings, and a stained mattress, suggesting room for improvement. The majority of feedback did not raise cleanliness as an issue, hence the high score.

The location is highly praised for its convenience, with a village shop and pub across the road, and easy access to local tourist spots and beaches. The quiet road and the sound of birds and a clock tower added to the pleasant atmosphere.

Comfort was generally well-received with mentions of comfy beds and cosy living spaces. Some guests noted issues with sofa comfort and a bed frame, which suggests that while the property is comfortable overall, there are elements that could be enhanced.

Facilities are considered to be excellent, including a well-equipped kitchen, outdoor pizza oven, and BBQ. The property also offers a secure garden and on-site parking. A boiler issue was promptly resolved, indicating good maintenance, but some minor maintenance points prevent a perfect score.

The host's thoughtfulness is evident through the provision of a welcome pack, baby cot, and clear instructions. While such gestures are appreciated, guests should note that these are subject to change and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

About this property

Trewenna is a delightfully quirky end-terrace character cottage set over two floors and situated in a roadside position in the centre of the charming village of Tregony. Full of character with exposed stone walls, beams, solid oak flooring and deep set windows, yet with a contemporary twist boasting a rich blue theme and complimenting floral designs, this family-friendly holiday home has all you need, whether you want to stay in and enjoy this home-from-home, or venture out to explore Cornwall. Inside, the ground floor hosts a well-equipped kitchen where the chef of the group can show off their skills before moving through to the dining room; this characterful room is complete with colourful, mismatched yet perfectly at home chairs. Also on the ground floor, you can find an inviting sitting room, complete with a Smart TV and woodburning stove to cosy up in front of. Allow the children to entertain; the ground-floor snug is home to a wealth of creative materials, including puppets, so the younger members and any budding actors in the family can steal the show. Upstairs, three traditionally styled bedrooms offer a place to rest your head; a king-size and a double boast en-suite shower rooms for extra privacy, while the twin room offers a truckle, for a flexible sleeping arrangement. Outside, make the most of the fantastic space, which has a barbecue and pizza oven, along with plenty of furniture so you can dine alfresco while your canine companions play. If you don’t fancy cooking, pop over to The Kings Arms pub just opposite the property; you will also be just paces from the local village convenience store, art gallery and church with good access to the Roseland peninsula. The house is a perfect location to explore Cornwall. The village has a well stocked shop and pub across the road there’s also a social club with pool table. The house its self is perfect. comfy beds a large living room with cosy fire in the colder evening. The kitchen has everything you need we cooked most nights and also had an Easter roast on the Sunday with all the family sat at the large dining table. And not forgetting the welcome pack was a lovely touch. Thanks again to Jo we will be back x

Really well equipped, beds very comfy, lovely linen, plenty of bathrooms. Characterful and spacious but homely. Jo was very thoughtful as a host with a welcome pack and baby cot and things left out for our use if we wanted. Completely enclosed and secure garden for cars and dog. Central location, local shop, lovely village
