The well-equipped, sleek kitchen also has charming traditional features and offers every essential for preparing a delicious dinner for the group; why not enjoy fresh seafood brought from the coast? Indulge in tasty treats at the dining table before an evening of board games. Moving onto the first floor you can find the two bedrooms, both with their own feature wallpaper and TVs to keep you entertained in the evenings; you'll find an impressive king-size and an equally elegant twin, the perfect set up for a family of four, both with ample storage and serviced by a spacious bathroom. In the mornings, enjoy a coffee and take one of many books from the shelf before heading to the front lawn with your canine companion by your side to begin your day amongst the fresh breezes of the harbour. This attractive property is conveniently situated in the midst of Charlestown’s Georgian harbour, a fabulous spot which has served as the setting for TV’s Poldark series and where you can discover The Tall Ships. You will be spoilt for choice by the selection of fine pubs and restaurants catering for all tastes. Nearby Carlyon Bay has a fabulous coastline with some lovely walks, sheltered coves and traditional fishing villages (such as Mevagissey) for a wonderful day out. Attractions include the Eden Project, the Ship Wreck Centre, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Poldark Mine, Cardinham Woods and the National Trust property of Lanhydrock House. The Old Smokehouse is a wonderful retreat to spend quality time with your loved ones at any time of year.

A delightful and much sought-after coastal village of stone cottages and Regency houses, on the south coast near St. Austell. Famous for its collection of tall ships riding at anchor in the harbour, the shipwreck museum, excellent pubs and restaurants and easy access to the coastal path, Charlestown is the perfect holiday destination. It has even been used as a filming location, most well-known for appearing in Poldark. The area is rich in golf courses with Carlyon Bay and Porthpean close by. The picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey is 6 miles away by car, while the Lost Gardens of Heligan, several stately homes and gardens and the fabulous Eden Project are all within 5 miles, with Newquay and North Cornwall coast 17 miles away.
