Guests praise its proximity to the beach and local amenities, excellent facilities including a hot tub, and the homely touches that make stays memorable. While most found it clean and comfortable, a few noted minor cleanliness and maintenance issues.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found Sunset View to be spotlessly clean and comfortable, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, a few guests mentioned cleanliness issues, particularly with floors and a high chair, which slightly impacts the overall high standard noted by others.

The location of Sunset View is highly praised for its breathtaking sea views, proximity to the beach, and local amenities. Its setting allows for easy access to nearby attractions and the town centre, making it an ideal base for exploring Cornwall.

Guests generally regard the property as comfortable, with a well-equipped house and relaxing outdoor space. However, some guests suggested that the comfort of the beds could be improved, indicating room for enhancement in this area.

The facilities at Sunset View, including the hot tub, outdoor spaces, and well-stocked kitchen, are frequently commended. A few guests encountered issues with hot tub maintenance and kitchen utensils, but these were exceptions in the overall positive feedback.

The thoughtful touches, such as welcome scones, cream teas, and dog treats, are warmly appreciated by guests, adding a personal touch to their stay. While these gestures are cherished, it's worth noting that such extras, though delightful, may vary and are not guaranteed.

There was also a lot of hair on bed linen. Pillows were very soft and uncomfortable. However, the overall place/location was lovely.

This property is very nice and clean, the views from the upstairs living room are amazing. It has good facilities overall and is pretty spacious. The living room upstairs is the highlight. We needed to contact the owner due to a minor issue, we found her very polite, friendly and helpful. We love Porth as it has a nice beach, opposite the beach we love Roo's beach coffee shop and clothes shop (really friendly people). It is only a 20 minute walk across the coastal path or 1 mile in a car to get to Newquay.
