Snaptrip says

Guests consistently praise the lodge for its immaculate condition, well-equipped amenities, and the privacy and safety of the grounds. The serene and secluded setting is perfect for both families and couples, with a hot tub adding to the relaxation. While some minor issues with maintenance and comfort are noted, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many looking to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The lodge receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning its spotless condition upon arrival. The grounds are also well-kept, contributing to the overall clean and tidy impression.

The location is appreciated for its peacefulness and privacy, though some guests note the lack of horizon views and the growth of shrubs and trees affecting the openness. The site is well-situated for exploring Cornwall.

Comfort is generally rated highly, with the lodge being spacious and well-presented. However, some guests find the beds and pillows too soft, and there are comments about the gloominess inside on less sunny days.

Facilities are well-regarded, with the lodge being equipped for guests' needs. Maintenance issues such as a broken toilet flush and non-working outside lights are mentioned, but the hot tub is a standout feature, despite some comments on the jets.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

So much better than anticipated. It was such a quiet location which is what we wanted and the dogs enjoyed sniffing around on their walks where the wild rabbits had been. Our hot tub was topped up and extra cleaning took place regularly. We loved finding all the local facilities with a shop a few mins drive away, take aways 10-15 mins drive and a great location to explore Cornwall. For me, the mattresses were a little soft which caused some discomfort but that is a personal thing and not the fault of the owners of the lodge, we cannot be the same. But overall, a really fantastic holiday with everything in the lodge that you will need.

Horizon 15 was perfect for us, it is not overlooked by other lodges and you have your own private garden area which is just so lovely to sit and relax outside, as well as sitting in the hot tub. If privacy is one of your musts, then this is the perfect lodge. The grounds are immaculate, well maintained and clean. Tracey on reception has amazing customer service. She called ahead to inform us that our lodge was ready early if we wanted to arrive earlier then expected, she followed up the day after to see if our lodge and stay was going well etc. The lodge itself was bright and extremely clean and comfortable. Can not fault our stay at all. If we were to nit pick, then we would say that the jets in the hot tub arnt that great, but this did not put us off from rebooking.

This was our second stay at 15 Horizon view no complaints lovely place comfortable clean great location, a cover over the hot tub would be a great addition and maybe a light as quite dark even a string of solar lights would be good, will be back next year
