Guests consistently describe the property as very clean and tidy, with several reviews specifically commending its cleanliness. The property manager's efforts in maintaining high standards are evident, contributing to a pleasant stay.

The property's location is highly praised for its tranquillity, views of farmland, and proximity to beaches and village amenities. Its accessibility to local attractions and walks adds to its appeal, although some guests mention the uphill walk from the beach.

The property is generally found to be comfortable, with a warm atmosphere and comfortable beds, although there are mixed opinions about mattress firmness. The new settees and dining room furniture are appreciated, enhancing the overall comfort.

Crantock is a small Cornish village, set back from the coast, close to the popular resort of Newquay. If you want to escape the crowds, yet still be close to the action, this is the place to be. There's stunning countryside all around and lots of pretty villages to explore; however, it is the coast that dominates. There are a number of golf courses in the area, as well as National Trust properties, traditional pubs and outstanding restaurants. Newquay itself is a visitor's paradise with a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, plus attractions such as the Sea Life Centre, Newquay Zoo and nearby Dairyland and Eden Project.

Despite the cold weather, the house was toasty warm. The only downside is that water pressure is very low.

It had all the essentials and equipment we required to enjoy an amazing holiday in Crantock. The spacious downstairs kitchen dining area was great. The beds were comfy and provided a well earned rest after days on the beach. We even managed an evening drink outside on the patio despite some mixed weather. The property is perfectly placed to enjoy the beauty of Crantock (including the numerous pubs/restaurants it has to offer within short walking distance) but also ideal for getting around - we visited Perranporth, Padstow, Newquay and St Ives during our stay. Support and communication from the property manager was excellent before and during our stay. Having read the previous reviews re: water pressure issues this didn’t come as a surprise to ourselves but there was certainly adequate flow to shower. We enjoyed our stay that much we have already booked for next year!

Very comfy with picturesque views and wildlife. Its got everything you would need and with only a 8min drive to the beach it was the perfect location. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.
