Snaptrip says

The Office, a well-equipped cottage in Oxfordshire, receives high praise for its cleanliness, comfort, and location near Oxford and the Cotswolds. Guests appreciate the warm welcome from the hosts and the unique experience of staying adjacent to a working farm. While most reviews are positive, noting the modern amenities and thoughtful touches, there are some concerns about the bed size and the perceived lack of hospitality from one of the owners.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently describe the property as 'spotless' and 'clean', indicating a high standard of cleanliness throughout the cottage.

The property's proximity to Oxford, the Cotswolds, and local towns, along with its unique farm setting, is highly appreciated by guests, making the location ideal for exploring the area.

The comfort of the property is well-regarded, with mentions of a good shower and comfortable bed. However, one guest suggested the need for a chair more suitable for older individuals.

Facilities are generally praised for being modern and well-equipped. However, one review noted the absence of certain kitchen items and a summer-weight duvet, suggesting room for improvement.

While some guests mention welcome gifts such as milk and chocolates, there is not enough information to assess the consistency of such gestures across all stays. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed that these thoughtful touches are a standard offering.

It is the original Office of the busy working beef cattle farm, which is a family run business. We met the owner, Claire and her Dad who were both were very pleasant and welcoming. The accommodation has a mixture of the modern and traditional and was comfortable, clean and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and hope to return.

However we found the lady owner unfriendly and unhelpful. Shortly after arriving I left a message on her phone requesting some salt and paper and also some kitchen roll. The photographs on your website appear to show salt and pepper on the worktop and clearly show a roll of kitchen towel – neither were in the kitchen (there was an empty kitchen roll holder). I received a curt text back thanking me for the call but saying “we are self-catering” – end of message. The duvet in the bedroom was a heavy, winter 10.5 tog and there was no alternative blanket or throw to use instead. Two tablets of dishwasher detergent were left but no detergent for the washing machine. It would have been nice to have a container for the recyclables as well as a kitchen bin for rubbish. Most establishments also provide a small amount of oil and clingfilm – again nothing. Rather than a box of chocolates being left surely more than 4 individual teabags, 4 Nescafe sachets and 4 tiny rolls of sugar would be more useful and appreciated. It was friendly of Mr Buckingham Snr to say goodbye to us on the morning of our departure. My husband enjoyed his chat.
