Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the property clean and tidy, with one mentioning an issue with dog fur on the carpets. The high remarks for cleanliness from several reviews suggest a generally well-maintained property.

The location is highly praised for its quietness, idyllic setting, and proximity to the New Forest, with wildlife sightings adding to the charm. The accessibility to local attractions and walks contributes to a high score.

The beds and furnishings are generally considered comfortable, with some guests finding the furniture low for their needs. The presence of a well-fitted kitchen and comfortable beds in most reviews supports a positive score.

Facilities are well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and useful additions like a bike shed. However, issues with exterior lighting, alarm systems, and the need for handrails are noted. The mix of positive comments and some maintenance concerns leads to this score.

Guests appreciated the welcome pack and the property's provision of amenities. While gifts are mentioned positively, it should be noted that such offerings are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

The property is a home from home and we settled in straight away. Thought has been given to the choice of equipment and the conservatory being south facing but with a sun reflecting roof was a bonus. We didn’t realise on booking that there was a paddock attached and when the sun was cooling our dog enjoyed chasing her ball and sniff adventuring. Would recommend and also hope to return.

Extremely clean and comfortable and welcoming. Felt like home. The dog loved the garden and lots of wildlife nearby, I.e. deer, ponies and donkeys. Lovely to wake up to the birdsong too.

Lovely house in a beautiful area. It was clean and comfortable, with absolutely everything you could need. Lovely garden with some great views. A great base for exploring the New Forest, we loved seeing the horses and cows too! Highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the area.
