Snaptrip says

Willow Cottage in Clitheroe is a well-received holiday rental with guests praising its comfort, welcoming atmosphere, and suitability as a base for exploring the local area. The cottage's authentic character and the hospitality provided by the hosts, Liz and Nick, are frequently mentioned highlights. While some guests experienced issues with WiFi and TV, the overall sentiment is positive, with recommendations for both the property and its location.

Guests that stayed at this property said

There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide an accurate score for this category.

The location is generally praised for its proximity to local amenities and scenic areas, making it an excellent base for exploring Pendle Hill and the surrounding region. However, concerns about safety for elderly guests and the proximity to a busy road without a pavement are noted.

Guests find the cottage comfortable and cosy, with a lovely atmosphere and a comfortable bed. However, the lack of a bannister at the top of the stairs and extra steps from each bedroom may pose difficulties for some guests.

The cottage is described as well-equipped and having great facilities, but there are issues with WiFi reliability and TV functionality. The absence of a downstairs toilet and a secure area for a dog are also mentioned.

While guests express appreciation for the hospitality shown by the hosts, there is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide a score for thoughtfulness. Please note that while gifts can enhance a stay, they are not guaranteed.

There are great walks from the cottage door, along with great food from the local pub and cafe. Willow Cottage has everything you need plus some wonderful authentic character. It’s a real home from home and a perfect place to explore the area of Pendle and Bowland. The scenic drive to Dunsop Bridge (recommended by Liz) was spectacular, so was the stunning view from the Atom Panopticon near Wycoller. Our dog Archie recommends Willow Cottage as a perfect place to stay and we have to agree
