3 School View is a well-received cottage in Cumbria, praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and excellent facilities. Guests appreciate the warm welcome, including personal touches like flowers and biscuits. The location is ideal for walking and exploring the Lake District, with a secure garden that is perfect for dogs. The property boasts a modern kitchen, comfortable beds, and an exceptional shower. While the majority of feedback is positive, a few guests noted issues with pub accessibility for dogs and internal noise.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage consistently receives high praise for its cleanliness, with numerous guests describing it as immaculate and very clean. This suggests a well-maintained property that guests feel comfortable in.

The location is generally appreciated for its proximity to walking areas, the beach, and local towns. However, some guests were disappointed with the local pub's dog policy, which slightly impacts the score.

Guests frequently mention the comfortable beds, warm atmosphere, and cosy setting, indicating a high level of comfort. One review mentioned an indent in the bed, but this seems to be an isolated comment.

Facilities such as the kitchen, shower, and garden are often highlighted as excellent. There is a single mention of a desired dishwasher, and one note about a washing machine, but overall the facilities are very well-regarded.

The host's thoughtfulness is frequently acknowledged through mentions of welcome gifts like milk, biscuits, and flowers. While these gestures are highly appreciated, it should be noted that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed.

I don’t usually recommend but this cottage warrants a recommendation.

Considering it was a last minute booking due to circumstances beyond our control we were completely satisfied with our accommodation. The cottage is fully equipped , the owner has thought of everything to make a comfortable stay. The kitchen had everything needed to cook a meal as we didn't want to eat out each evening. I was glad that cleaning products were there to use during our stay as this has always been an issue when staying away from home. The cottage is situated in a great locality near to a beautiful stretch of beach which is always what we look for in booking somewhere and having a pub within walking distance was a nice bonus plus some interesting places to visit. The gesture of welcome cookies and a card were thoughtful and lovely. We all enjoyed the break away and I would gladly recommend this property to others and we hope to come back in the near future. Thankyou :)
