Windermere Jetty Museum is close by - great for steam boat trips, the gorgeous cafe and the museum itself. We'll return soon!

comfortable and spacious with great views over lake windermere and a five minute walk to the jetty. A short half an hour walk into Bowness with loads of great restaurants and quaint shops. Vinegar Jones fish and chips are great. All in all a great restful break.

The cottage was comfortable and cosy, and although the pillow cases and protectors were clean some of the pillows were stained and could have done with being replaced. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do, a short walk to the bus stops and a pleasant walk up to Windermere or down to Bowness and the lake.
